WHAT I DID LAST WEDNESDAY (CONTINUED).

I got to the beach at around 10:45am and found my girlfriend by the pier. We talked for a bit while Summer Salt softly played in the background. We decided to go for a walk down the beach and ended up getting in the water not long after. The water was crystal clear, with soft, smooth waves that gently lifted our feet off the sand below. There were, however, also jellyfish. Although there were not that many to be seen, they were rather large and were being carried towards us on the current. The jellyfish didn’t put too much of a damper on our having a good time, and we left the beach with only a few minor stings. As I drove back to campus, I decided to switch from Fleet Foxes to something a little more peppy—Caamp. The vibes were immaculate as I drove with my windows down and my music loud. I got back to my dorm and immediately met up with my friend JT. We had made plans to play some disc golf that afternoon. It had been quite a while since I’d last played, and it was very evident.
