CSS PAINTING

This recreation of Auguste Herbin’s geometric abstraction work titled “lion”, was created using CSS coding. The basic shapes within this recreation were created, colored, and positioned by lines of code in an .html file. Notice the lack of texture that would have been present had the piece been painted or drawn. A photograph of Herbin’s “lion” is located here. My recreation is not an exact representation of Herbin’s work, but it is close.
