This is a web based art project built up around the prompt “The dust is people, scourge, and titanic winds.” I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it, but there were several images that came to mind. The prompt almost gave me ominous vibes, but I decided to create a more nonsensical, non-linear story with images that came to mind. “Scourge and titanic winds” made me consider powerful forces of nature such as disease and tornados, but even on a larger scale with hurricanes or Jupiter’s big red spot. This also made me think about how humans have harnessed or combatted these natural elements and it’s something I wanted to showcase through this net art, though in a non-serious way.
