This is a painting by Augustine Herbin named Lion. It was made in 1947 and consists of four triangles, three circles, three half-cicles and a rectangle consisting of four colors in total. Most of my time spent on this recreation was on measurements. I went into photoshop and measured each shape by inch, multiplied by 72 to convert that to pixels, and divided by 1.75878 to get the correct ratio for each shape.
