This piece is Piet Mondrian "Composition with Red, Blue, and Yellow" and I wanted to tackle this one because I like the color palette. Out of all the ones that I could see, I appreciated the Piet Mondrian piece more because I have recreated one of his paintings on a canvas and I felt it would be an interesting comparison to see it in computer code. This computer-coded piece is about one-hundred and ninety lines of code with almost twenty-six divs. I had to play around a lot with the alignment of elements and the "z-index" so that everything can sit on top of each other and look like the original piece. I made sure to add the silver-colored rectangles against the background to make sure it looks the same. I do not believe I have ever been this proud of a piece of mine. This project means a lot to me because coding is something I did not expect I was capable of.
